Motivation or distraction..

I’ve always woke up every morning and grab my caffeine and sit down to scroll on Facebook like it’s the morning news channel. I never thought much of it until recently when I have come to realize that there are several other highly more productive things I could be doing with my time. It’s funny because the thing that brought me to realize that I could be doing something far more productive was Instagram. Ha, funny I know right.

I have always used Facebook to keep up with friends and family that live father away. I also love using Facebook to upload most of my pictures. I do realize that I use Facebook for allot of productive elements as well but where I’m going with this, is to be mindful of how you spend your time on social media. As yes it’s meant to be enjoyed, but if not careful it can quickly become a distraction.

Now how did Instagram bring me to this realization you ask? Well I was scrolling through, trying to up my engagement; to up my following, as I’m trying to spread awareness of my blog and the contents heir in. While scrolling through Instagram I’m seeing all of this motivational based content creation from businesses that thrive off of simply informing their audience on the importance of goals. How to be successful. Ways to build funnels. The list goes on and on.

My conclusion, I want to be that person. I want to be my audiences hype man. I feel when people come to a blog it’s to soak in knowledge and learn better ways to complete or attain what it is they feel they are lacking in life or struggling with. I want to empower my readers to life a more fulfilling life. I truly hope that is was an able to accomplish going forward here on lovely Journies. Thank you all for being a part of it.
