Faith

Faith is something I have always had. There are times where I have tried my hardest to turn my back on my faith so I could be left to fall victim to my own devices, however I have Always found my way back!

Freedom

Freedom from addiction is not something easy to attain, but I can tell you that Faith plays a huge part in it. Finding freedom from addiction through Faith is forgiveness.

Often times addiction steams from past traumas or experiences that have caused pain and hurt. We then look for an outlet, or something to numb the pain. But, by forgiving ourselves and others, we can begin to heal and move forward into a happier, healthier life!

Action

There is a 12 step program that offers this type of support in Recovery around the world and it has helped hundreds of thousands of people. However, we can also take action when we draw on the teachings of the bible. The Bible can help us find forgiveness and let go of the shame and guilt that often accompany our addictions.

When we have Faith in God, we believe in his power to transform us and to give us the strength we need to overcome hardships and obstacles. In the Bible there are countless examples to reference, of people who were able to overcome.

Freedom from addiction begins with a desire to change and a willingness to seek out help. The only action we must take is to surrender. We must surrender and turn to a higher power. Through prayer, meditation, step work, and reading scripture, we can find the strength and clarity we need to overcome. So, it is at this point, very beneficial, and recommended to surround ourselves with positive people whom support our recovery journey. Having a healthy and positive support system can make all the difference in the world.

ASK

In conclusion, it is Faith in God! Faith is a powerful tool in progressing forward in our Recovery. By turning to God for guidance, asking for strength, and support, we can and do, find Freedom! WE find Freedom from the chains of addiction, and move on to live the life we were created to live. It takes courage, determination, and a willingness to seek help. However if you are willing to Ask.. you take the first step. In having Faith, all things are possible.
